A DAY OF RESPECT! is a benefit to continue a year-long fundraising drive for ViZion Dance as a non-profit, multicultural dance institution. ViZion Dance, Inc. is a culturally diverse dance and dramatic arts company producing inspiring projects with American themes of "God and Country". We place emphasis on and are committed to the sacrifices and lives of U.S. veterans and historic leaders who have demonstrated patriotism and "good will" to the world and its diverse people. Last year's event included a series of workshops and panel discussions. This year's event will feature preservation of honorees through recorded interviews and other media channels.

The honorees are individuals with sustained and enduring legacies from various sectors of the community who merit celebrating during "A Day of Respect".

The mission of ViZion Dance, Inc. is to maintain a "world class" dance company headquartered in metro-Atlanta, GA with culturally diverse artists performing a "high-level and demanding" repertoire of inspirational, patriotic and historic works that evoke a moral and social consciousness in humanity. Through training, collaboration, mentorship, performance, and passionate community involvement, artists will be enabled to make meaningful contributions to the art form and the global community.

A DAY OF RESPECT! will start with panel discussions and workshops and will culminate with an Awards Presentation representing luminaries in the field of arts & culture in the metro-Atlanta area and from around the country.
