Dr. Patricia L. Evans Polk

  • Dr. Patricia L. Evans Polk is a native of Griffin, Georgia. Dr. Evans graduated from Griffin High School in 1990. After high school, she attended and graduated from Howard University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and a minor in Chemistry. After graduating from Howard University, she did research at the National Institutes of Health and to her credit, she has three medical publications. After she was done with her research career, she decided to attend Life University to pursue a degree in Chiropractic. In September of 2000, she graduated from Life University with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Since that time, she has been practicing chiropractic (over 25 years). As a chiropractor, she has taken a natural approach to health by providing quality chiropractic care and wellness services to her patients with the result being optimal health. She is passionate about dispelling the myth that chiropractic is just for low back pain and car accidents. It is for this reason that Dr. Evans has been educating her community about the benefits of chiropractic care by participating in health fairs at schools, churches, and other organizations.
  • Dr. Evans reveals that becoming a chiropractor is the best thing that could have happened for her in her pursuit of a rewarding career. The reason became crystal clear while taking a philosophy class at Life University. This class taught her that chiropractic care is based on the principle of no drugs and no surgeries unless necessary. That principle reflects how she was raised.
  • Dr. Evans is the owner of Healing Hands Chiropractic and Wellness Center. She has a main office in Stockbridge, Georgia and a satellite office in Griffin, Georgia. At each office, her focus is on maintaining a properly aligned spine for each individual. A properly aligned spine is important to preventing disease, maintaining health, and boosting immunity.
