Led with integrity and purpose by visionary and award-winning choreographer, Monique Barashango, ViZion Dance International, LLC looks to inspire the world through thought provoking, meaningful and historic works personified through the art of dance.

Well known for our community outreach endeavors, we provide mentally, physically and / or financially disadvantaged children and adults the opportunity to dance with a purpose and to enhance the quality of life of others (mentally, socially, and physically) through our humanitarian efforts. We are wholly committed to helping today's youth (and adults) to lead healthy and wholesome lifestyles in an effort to successfully acquire their "vision" and to inspire others to live a purpose driven life through their experiences. We also provide nutrition / fitness workshops, personal training, and various styles of group aerobics (Senior, Children's, Kickboxing, Pilates, etc.) by certified fitness professionals. In addition, we are a Non-profit, 501-c3 affiliated organization whose works have been profiled on CNN, Good Day Atlanta (Fox 5), People 2 People (WSB TV / Channel 2), Atlanta Live (Channel 57), and many other print and TV media outlets.

With our high standard of excellence in theatrical dance performance and soul-stirring and innovative interpretation of music, ViZion has gained fans nationally and internationally! We are known for our unique fusion of various styles of dance including, but not limited to: Breakdancing, Hip Hop, Step, Bollywood, African, Jazz, Tap, Salsa, Mime, Modern, Liturgical and more!

Some of our members have overcome great odds to nurture the talent that they possess so that others could be healed through their testimonies. Some were even told they would never be able to walk, much less dance, but are now award winning dancers. They spend time volunteering at Juvenile Justice Centers, Hosea Feed The Hungry and Homeless events, Battered Women's shelters, National Sickle Cell Awareness functions, youth conferences as well as anti-bullying and anti-violence events... Our annual event "Blaze The Floor" National Dance Battle and Tour is quickly gaining national popularity as we strive to "Stomp The Violence" in communities by utilizing discussion panels with popular artists along with positive dance and music as a visual stimulator!

Our performance excellence and hard work and dedication to positively impacting the lives of others has provided members with numerous honorable event invitations and awards to include: being selected as "America's Best Inspirational Dance Company", selected to perform at World AIDS Day 2014 (special guest, Michelle Obama), The Global Humanitarian World Summit (headliners), Bernice King's "Be A King" Foundation's "100 Days of Non-Violence" Culmination Celebration, The M L King Center's Kingonian Youth Non-Violence Expo and MLK Memorial Dedication, The Kennedy Center Honors, McDonald's "The Gift" (Featured guest artist), The National Black Arts Festival, The Sweet Auburn Festival, Summer Olympic Games, the movies "Joyful Noise" and "The Gospel", Superbowl (Atlanta, GA), Internationally syndicated Allstate Gospel Superfest TV show, The Sounds of Blackness Africa To America Tour, music videos, Disney Channel TV shows, workshops, and other special events. Our youth are members of the International Peace Syndicate project (produced by Grammy / Emmy Award winning producers) which creates awareness of bullying and a need for global non-violence through the use of dance and song. In addition, our renown hip hop crew were recruited by show producers to audition for several seasons of "America's Best Dance Crew" and was featured on several promotional videos for the show.
